Seven years ago, my husband and I fell in love with Crete during a magical road trip across the scenic island. At 1st pass, I was drawn to hiking its formidable mountains, the endless picturesque beaches, ancient historical legacy, & cultural pride. The cornerstones of life in Crete are family, community, and good healthy food, its seems the richest life is the non materialistic one. Three trips later I have explored and discovered more things I love, I'm continuously impressed at the harmony between farming, animals, tourism, and wild nature. There is great care and respect for the environment. On your visit to Crete, I hope you can be as enchanted as I am. Its truly a humanistic wonder of the world.

I'd love to tell you a little more about me and what i do.
I'm Adriana, the creator of programs for dancers and athletes who aspire to train at their best, throughout their careers, even in today's hectic and demanding lifestyles
My philosophy~
Training to be more resilient is not as difficult as it may sound. We require four key components for a long, fulfilling career of joyful expression. The recipe for longevity as a dancer lies in nurturing the mind, body, spirit, and establishing heart-satisfying community connections. If any one of these components is missing, it can leave us feeling as though we need to seek out a new hobby or career.
Having danced since childhood and then transitioning to full-time performing after college, I learned firsthand that repetitive motion can take a toll on the body. Nobody talked about injury prevention; it was just an accepted part of the profession until I began working with Zinnia, my floor barre instructor. It was then that I realized that without proper training, imbalances in the body are created
I began cataloging various techniques to build resilience with each injury, delving deeper into body physiology and mechanics, and ultimately finding ways to prevent unnecessary pain and breakdown in the body. Age does not have to be an inevitable sentence to becoming fragile & inept.
As a perpetual student of all things Kinesiology, I am constantly educating myself on the newest and most cutting-edge research in physiology. I thoroughly enjoy sharing what I'm currently studying through my newsletter and social media channels.
I am excited to announce that I will be teaching my signature program, 'The Resilient Dancer,' designed to strengthen the body and create a roadmap for recovery after injury, postpartum, and to address technique and postural challenges.
My program incorporates a variety of training tools, including Pilates, barre, yoga, pranayama, weight training, calisthenics, and functional mobility training to help dancers build strength and resilience in their bodies.
I run online and in-person dance classes and frequently perform at cultural events throughout the San Francisco and San Jose Bay Area in California, USA. Currently, I am in the process of creating a business program specifically designed for working dance artists.
